Midwest Ltd selected as Lead Consortium Partner by Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd

Midwest Limited has been selected as the Lead Consortium Partner by Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd. (KMML), a Government of Kerala undertaking, for strategic technology development and establishment of a pilot plant project focused on rare earth elements.

The project involves processing of monazite-rich tailings to produce rare earth elements (REEs), with end-to-end execution including pilot plant development, subject to execution of MoU and receipt of necessary approvals. The pilot facility is proposed to be commissioned within 6 months from approvals (extendable by up to 3 months), with capital investment to be undertaken by the Company.
