Atul Auto records explosive 74% Sales Growth in April 2026

Atul Auto Limited, a leading manufacturer of three-wheeled vehicles, has reported a massive surge in sales for the start of the 2026-27 fiscal year. According to the company's latest regulatory filing with the BSE and National Stock Exchange, total sales volumes jumped by nearly 74% year-on-year.
The Gujarat-based company, headed by Managing Director Neeraj J Chandra, achieved total sales (Domestic + Export) of 3,001 units in April 2026, a significant leap from the 1,725 units recorded in April 2025.
IC Engine Segment Leads the Surge
The Internal Combustion (IC) Engine segment was the standout performer for the month. Atul Auto sold 2,314 units globally in this category, representing a remarkable 94.78% increase compared to the 1,188 units sold in the same month last year.
Domestic demand for IC engine vehicles was particularly strong, nearly doubling with a growth rate of 98.56% year-on-year.
Sustained Momentum in Electric Vehicles
The company also maintained healthy growth in its Electric Vehicle (EV) portfolio, which includes L5 category vehicles sold by its subsidiary, Atul Greentech Private Limited.
Total EV Sales: Reached 687 units in April 2026, up from 537 units in the prior year, marking a 27.93% increase.
Domestic EV Sales: Grew by 30.86%, totaling 687 units for the month.
Combined domestic sales for the company reached 2,478 units, a 73.65% rise over the previous April's 1,427 units. When accounting for exports, the overall growth settled at a robust 73.97%.
This strong opening performance for FY 2026-27 highlights Atul Auto's strengthening market position in both traditional and green energy three-wheeler segments as it operates from its primary manufacturing hub in Shapar, Rajkot.
Shares of Atul Auto Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 488.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 493.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 10769 in over 297 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 491.50 and intraday low of 477.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5197056.00.
