Infosys appoints Nitin Paranjpe as Non-Executive Vice Chairman

Infosys (NSE, BSE, NYSE: INFY), a global leader in AI-first business consulting and technology services, today announced that the Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Nitin Paranjpe as non-executive-Vice Chairman of the Board with immediate effect.

The appointment recognizes Nitin's contribution to the Board. He brings extensive experience including as non-executive Chairman of Hindustan Unilever Ltd and non-executive Vice Chairman of Heineken NV. As the Vice Chairman, he will support the Chairman in guiding the Board and strategic agenda.

"His expertise has already made a significant impact on the Board, and we look forward to his continued leadership in this expanded role. I will continue as the Chairman of the Board as long as necessary and there is no plan for a chairman transition."

Shares of Infosys Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1167.50 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1152.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 581768 in over 25514 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1178.50 and intraday low of 1157.10. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 680654776.00.
