Eimco Elecon has expanded its underground mining portfolio with the launch of the UV-A-BE, a battery-operated multi-utility vehicle designed and developed in India. It is built to handle a wide range of underground material transport needs, including coal, minerals, spares, and other operational supplies.
With a payload capacity of up to 10 tonnes and a compact height of 1.5 meters, the vehicle is well-suited for low-height, constrained mining environments, helping improve productivity and operational flexibility.
The UV-A-BE also meets stringent statutory and safety requirements, including explosion-protection standards for Degree One gassy coal mines, and features flameproof and intrinsically Safe systems to ensure reliable and safe operation.
MCAR - E
The Mine Car - E is a fully indigenous, battery-operated vehicle designed specifically for low-seam mining operations. With a compact height of just 1.35 meters, it offers an efficient and practical solution for navigating constrained underground environments.
Built to meet rigorous safety and durability standards, it ensures reliable performance in extreme settings while enabling efficient, zero-emission mobility.
The vehicle is designed to transport up to fourteen personnel + 1 driver simultaneously, optimizing workforce movement and operational productivity.
