RBL Bank Reports Strong FY26 Performance: Total Business Surpasses ₹2.5 Lakh Crore

RBL Bank Limited has released its provisional operational update for the financial year ending March 31, 2026, highlighting significant growth in both its deposit franchise and lending portfolio. The bank's Total Business crossed the ₹2.5 lakh crore milestone, representing a robust 24% Year-on-Year (YoY) growth.

The bank's deposit base saw a substantial increase, with Total Deposits reaching ₹1.39 trillion, a 25% YoY jump. A standout performance was seen in the CASA (Current Account Savings Account) segment, which surged by 26% Quarter-on-Quarter (QoQ) to reach ₹46,723 crore, bringing the CASA ratio to a healthy 33.6%.

Key Financial Highlights

Lending Momentum: Gross Advances grew by 22% YoY to reach ₹1.15 trillion. The growth was well-distributed, with the retail-to-wholesale mix standing at approximately 59:41.

Retail & Wholesale Growth: Secured Retail Advances were a major driver, growing by 36% YoY. Meanwhile, Wholesale advances increased by 27% YoY, led by the Commercial Banking segment which saw a 29% annual rise.

Operational Efficiency: The bank maintained high collection standards, reporting a Current Bucket Collection Efficiency of 99.7% for the JLG (Joint Liability Group) segment in March 2026.

Liquidity Position: The average Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) for the quarter remained strong at 130%, well above regulatory requirements.
