Tamilnadu Petroproducts Ltd to commission expanded capacity tomorrow

Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited has announced that the expansion activities at the Heavy Chemicals Division (HCD) plant have been successfully completed, and operations will commence from tomorrow (28th March 2026). The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board has granted their Consent to Operate for the Company's expanded capacity of 250 TPD of Caustic Soda production in HCD plant, allowing the Company to operate and discharge emissions as permitted under Section 21 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as amended in 1987 and discharge sewage & trade effluent under Section 25 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 as amended in 1988.

Shares of Tamilnadu PetroProducts Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 80.48 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 82.09. The total number of shares traded during the day was 18003 in over 759 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 83.10 and intraday low of 79.79. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1456075.00.
