South Indian Bank reports Provisional December 2025 Update - Strong Deposit Growth and Healthy Advances

Gross Advances: 96,765, an 11.27% year-on-year increase (YoY) from 86,966 in December 2024. Note: The year-ago figure for 31.12.2024 benefits from comparables prior to the impact of subsequent write-offs; the bank's management commentary indicates that in the quarter ending 31.03.2025 a technical write-off of ₹900 crore affected reported YoY growth. If that write-off had not occurred, the YoY growth as of 31.12.2025 would have been 12.43%.

Total Deposits: 118,211, up 12.17% YoY from 105,387 in December 2024, signaling positive retail and corporate deposit momentum.

CASA (Current and Savings Accounts): 37,640, up 14.65% YoY from 32,830 in December 2024, reflecting increasing high-quality, low-cost funds.

CASA Ratio: 31.84%, higher by 69 basis points (bps) year over year, illustrating a stable and improving funding mix.

*During the quarter ended 31.03.2025, Bank had technically written-off an amount of ₹900 crore. Had it not been done, the Year-on-Year growth as on 31.12.2025 would have been 12.43%.
