Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited ("AWHCL"), India's leading integrated solid waste management Company, announced that its material subsidiary, AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited, has been awarded two large-scale Collection & Transportation (C&T) contracts by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), reinforcing AWHCL's leadership in India's urban waste management sector.
The contracts have been awarded to a consortium/Joint Venture comprising AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited (51%), M/s. Jigar Transport Company (29%), and M/s. M. K. Enterprises (20%). The combined value of these contracts is approximately ₹1,330 crore, with the two contracts individually valued at ₹684 crore and ₹646 crore, providing stable long-term revenue visibility over a seven-year tenure.
Under the terms of the contracts, the Joint Venture will manage the collection and transportation of
approximately 1,250 metric tonnes per day (MTPD) of municipal solid waste across key Mumbai wards. This includes:
- ~650 MTPD from A, B, C, and D Wards
- ~600 MTPD from N, S, and T Wards
These projects will strengthen Mumbai's municipal waste infrastructure, improve service reliability, and ensure timely transportation of waste to designated landfill sites. The award underscores Antony's proven execution capabilities, strong operational track record, and ability to manage large-scale urban projects in high-density metropolitan environments.
