PVUNL commissions Unit 2 of Patratu STPP, Phase 1

NTPC Ltd has announced that Unit#2 (800 MW) of Patratu STPP, Phase-1 (3x800 MW) of Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs. of 25th June 2026.

With this, the total installed capacity of NTPC group stands at 90,857 MW and commercial capacity at 89,777 MW.

Shares of NTPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 366.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 365.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 242276 in over 3384 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 368.55 and intraday low of 364.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 88841665.00.
