Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd. (BSE: 543273) (NSE: KMEW) has been awarded a second work order by the New Mangalore Port Authority for the hiring of One No. of River Sea Vessel (RSV) type IV Security Patrol Boat with all manpower excluding High Speed Diesel (HSD). The contract is for a period of five years and is valued at ₹10,66,43,732/- inclusive of GST (Rupees Ten Crores Sixty-Six Lakh Forty-Three Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Two Only).
The contract entails the deployment of One No. of RSV type IV Security patrol boat to provide dedicated security services at New Mangalore Port. Additionally, the patrol boat will be exclusively dedicated to security tasks, focusing on patrolling and monitoring the port's waters to ensure the safety and security of vessels, personnel, and port infrastructure. This deployment will enhance port security and contribute to the safe functioning of New Mangalore Port.
We will construct and built patrol boats in-house to meet specific requirements and ensure their deployment at the port within the stipulated timeframe. Constructing and Building the Ship within the Organization will provide is cost comparative advantage over others.
