Suraj Products Ltd gets favorable arbitration award

An Arbitration Award dated 26 November 2025 has been pronounced in favour of Suraj Products Limited against M/s Everllence India Private Limited (Respondent), formerly MAN Energy Solutions India Pvt Ltd.

The dispute pertains to failure of 6 MW Steam Turbine Generator (STG) to achieve contractual output.

The company has been awarded Rs. 7,46,44,375 (inclusive of interest @ 12% p.a. up to 26.11.2025) from Respondent. Delay beyond 30 days from award date will attract 18% interest p.a. until payment.

The claim is for refund of cost of Steam Turbine Generator (STG) Rs. 4,63,76,382 plus interest @18% p.a. from 30.10.2020 and cost of litigation.

Shares of SURAJ PRODUCTS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 265.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 270.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 6165 in over 187 trades.
