Power Mech Projects Ltd secures order over Rs. 2500 crores

Power Mech Projects Limited has secured large scale order over ₹2500 crores (Rupees Two thousand five hundred crore) excl. GST from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), for EPC package for balance of plants (BOP) at 1 X 800 MW Singareni Super Thermal Power Project, Stage - II, Mancherial, Telangana.

The Scope of Work includes Design, engineering, manufacturing, inspection, testing, painting, supply / delivery duly packed at project site including transportation upto site, receipt, unloading, storage, security & handling at site, complete civil & structural works, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, final painting at site, trial run, PG Test, handing over, Completion of Facilities, Annual Maintenance till handover, Training, Guarantee and Warranty, Defect Liability Period etc. in line with drawings / documents / test procedures approved by Owner (SCCL), and conforming to the SCCL Contract, on the basis of Single Point Responsibility for total scope defined in BALANCE OF PLANTS (BOP) AS PER SCOPE MATRIX AND BATTERY LIMIT along with this Technical conditions of contract (TCC) & relevant provisions elsewhere taking into account all clarifications, confirmations, amendments and agreements till date for BOP EPC package complete with all accessories, including supply of consumables, erection & commissioning spares, special tools & tackles for maintenance, mandatory spares, etc. for 1x800 MW Singareni TPP, Stage -II, Mancherial, Telangana as detailed in Chapter - III of Technical Conditions of Contract (TCC) of tender and associated corrigenda.

The completion period of the contract is 38 Months from the date of start of work.

Shares of Power Mech Projects Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2823.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2671.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 15269 in over 2700 trades.
