Arvind Fashions Ltd announces appointment of Amisha Jain as new Managing Director and CEO

Arvind Fashions Limited (AFL), India's leading fashion casual wear and denim company, today named Amisha Jain as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company with effect from August 13, 2025, as part of the succession planning of the organization.

Amisha is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience across technology, consumer, and retail sectors. An alumna of INSEAD and McKinsey, she is known for driving growth and transformation across large complex organizations and new age digital native companies. Until recently, Amisha Jain, was the Managing Director & SVP of South Asia, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe at Levi Strauss & Co. She led the growth and transformation of the brand and business in the region contributing to the success of the brand. Shailesh Chaturvedi, the current MD & CEO, will work closely with Amisha to ensure a smooth transition.

The Board of Directors at Arvind Fashions met earlier today and approved the appointment of Amisha Jain as MD & CEO along with her induction to the company's Board as well.

Commenting on the development, Shailesh Chaturvedi said, "The last few years as the MD & CEO of AFL have been one of the most satisfying part of my over 30-year career in this industry. AFL has a great future ahead of it and I am also excited about the next phase of my personal and professional life. Kulin Lalbhai, Vice Chairman and Non-Executive Director, Arvind Fashions Limited said, "Under Shailesh's leadership, AFL has executed a sharp turn around post Covid including consolidation of our brands portfolio, driven by profitable growth, and strengthening of the balance sheet. Shailesh has been instrumental in leading the business to this stage and we are extremely grateful to him for his contributions."

An alumna of INSEAD and McKinsey, she has over 25+ years of experience in technology, consumer, and retail sectors. Through the course of her career, she has been leading growth and transformation initiatives for various brands. Until recently, she was the Managing Director & SVP of South Asia, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe at Levi Strauss & Co. During her 3-year term, Levi's India saw high teens growth while gaining #1 brand equity in the country in Denims and apparels. Prior to Levi's, she led the turnaround of Zivame, as the CEO and led it to an innovation-led consumer centric brand, that became the fastest growing women's intimate-wear, loungewear and athleisure business. Her prior experience includes Arvind group, Nike India, McKinsey & Company and Motorola Inc.

She was recently awarded the ET People-Focused CEO of the year 2024, at the prestigious The Economic Times HCA- Recognizing excellence in Human Capital. During her stint at Nike, she was also chosen for the prestigious '40 under 40: India's Hottest Business Leaders 2015' and 'India Inc's rising women business leaders' 2015' award by the Economic Times & Spencer Stuart, respectively.

Shares of Arvind Fashions Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 460.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 457.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 14149 in over 973 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 462.90 and intraday low of 452.90. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 6487899.00.
