Monarch Networth Capital Ltd to invest Rs. 40 crores in Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India Ltd

Monarch Networth Capital Limited has, on July 8, 2025, entered into and executed a Share Subscription and Shareholders' Agreement ("SSHA") with Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India Limited ("MSEI"). Under the terms of the SSHA, the Company has agreed to invest a sum of Rs. 40,00,00,000/- (Rupees Forty Crores only) by way of subscription to 20,00,00,000 equity shares of face value Rs. 1 each, at a price of Rs. 2 per share.

This investment will represent approximately 1.82% of the post-issue paid-up share capital of MSEI and is subject to the satisfactory completion of conditions precedent as stipulated in the SSHA.

MSEI, incorporated in 2008, is a SEBI-recognized stock exchange. It commenced operations in the Currency Derivatives Segment in 2008 and expanded into the Capital Market and Futures & Options segments in 2013. Presently, MSEI offers a trading platform across the Capital Market, Futures & Options, Currency Derivatives, and Debt Market segments.

Shares of Monarch Networth Capital Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 368.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 378.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 56321 in over 2585 trades.
