In a major step toward digitally empowering small businesses, the Department of Industries, Trade and Commerce, Government of Goa, launched the IRIS Peridot MSME App on World MSME Day 2025 on 27th June 2025 at Panjim, Goa. Developed in partnership with IRIS Business Services Ltd., the app is designed to support MSMEs with realtime compliance updates, facilitate easy access to finance, government schemes, digital invoicing, and more.

The launch of the IRIS Peridot MSME app, he noted, will enhance ease of doing business in the state. Industries Minister Shri Mauvin Godinho emphasized the importance of digital adoption for MSME growth. He noted that the IRIS Peridot MSME app is a tool that empowers small businesses to leverage technology for their development. The app also strengthens the government's ability to engage with MSMEs and Self-Help Groups, effectively bridging the gap between policy and grassroots implementation.
