DoT grants additional authorization VSAT Virtual Network Operator to Nelco Ltd

The Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, Government of India has granted Nelco Limited (the 'Company'), an additional authorization namely VSAT Virtual Network Operator (UL VNO - VSAT) at national level, under the Company's existing Unified License Virtual Network Operator License Agreement.

A Unified License - VSAT Virtual Network Operator (UL VSAT-VNO) will allow Nelco to operate as virtual network operators for VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) services. New entrants like regional ISPs, system integrators etc. to resell or distribute satellite-based VSAT services under their own brand without owning the satellite infrastructure themselves.

Shares of NELCO Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1092.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1123.80. The total number of shares traded during the day was 43782 in over 3819 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1161.50 and intraday low of 1078.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 49211431.00.
