ACME Solar commissions additional 19.8 MW capacity of its maiden wind power project in Gujarat

ACME Solar Holdings Limited is fast-tracking the commissioning of its maiden wind project located in Shapar, Gujarat. Following the initial commissioning of 26.4 MW in May 2025, the company in current phase has commissioned an additional 19.8 MW taking the total commissioned capacity of the wind project to 46.2 MW out of the planned 50 MW. Following this milestone, ACME Solar's operational capacity has enhanced to 2,826.2 MW. The project is expected to be fully commissioned in the next few days.

Strategically located in one of India's highest wind resource regions, this wind project is housed under the company's special projects vehicle, ACME Pokhran, and financed through Power Finance Corporation (PFC). The power generated from the project is sold through the 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed between ACME Pokhran and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.

ACME Solar is constructing the wind project through its in-house EPC making it a margin accretive project while enabling the project's delivery within stipulated timelines. The clean energy harnessed through the project is pooled at 33/220 kV pooling station and stepped up for evacuation to Shapar sub-station using a dedicated single circuit 220 kV transmission line. The project would share the sub-station with ACME Solar's another upcoming wind power project which is also in advanced stages of construction.

Shares of ACME Solar Holdings Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 243.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 253.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 86420 in over 2604 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 255.50 and intraday low of 242.80. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 21304677.00.
