Fire accident at VIP Industries Ltd's warehouse

A fire accident took place midnight i.e. early hours of Saturday, May 17, 2025 at warehouse located at Patta No 34, Daag No 1008, Kashliwal Warehouse, Pamohi Road, Near Bhumi Dhaba, Mikirpara Chakordoi, Guwahati, Kamrup Metro, Assam, 781033.

The reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The fire was controlled but the operation of the warehouse is temporarily disrupted. There are no human injuries or casualties reported. There is adequate insurance coverage for aforesaid warehouse and intimation to the Insurance Company has already been made.

While, the company is in process of ascertaining the actual loss caused due to the fire, the initial assessment of the loss may be in the range of Rs. 5-6 crores. Any further development related to this incident will be intimated within due time.

Shares of VIP Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 380.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 366.80. The total number of shares traded during the day was 151050 in over 4104 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 384.00 and intraday low of 367.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 57280297.00.
