Dalmia Cement subsidiary setting up greenfield cement plant

Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd (DCBL) has announced that the Board of Directors wish to announce that Dalmia Cement Ventures Ltd; a subsidiary of the Company, is setting up, in a phased manner, greenfield cement plants of upto 10 MTPA (million tonnes per annum) capacity in different parts of the country.

DCBL currently operates a 3.5 MTPA plant In Tamil Nadu and is currently setting up two greenfield cement plants at Cuddapah (Andhra Pradesh) and Ariyalur (Tamil Nadu) with a capacity of 2 million tonnes per annum each. DCBL also holds a 21.7% stake in OCL India Ltd, having a capacity of 2 MTPA which is being expanded to 4 MTPA.

The stock closed the day at Rs.217, down by Rs.0.85 or 0.39%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.220.05 and low of Rs.212.65.

The total traded quantity was 2073 compared to 2 week average of 611.
