The Ramco Cements Ltd's cement capacity increases to 24.04 MTPA

The Ramco Cements Ltd have carried out de-bottlenecking of cement grinding capacity at its Kalavatala Plant, Kolimigundla Mandal, Nandyal District, Andhra Pradesh resulting in increase of capacity from 1.5 MTPA to 2 MTPA.

In addition, at the Valapady Grinding Unit, Salem District, Tamil Nadu, the company has carried out de-bottlenecking of cement grinding capacity resulting in increase of capacity from 1.6 MTPA to 2 MTPA.

The company has received consent to operate from the competent authorities for the above increase in capacities.

Resultantly, the Company's total cement grinding capacity has increased by 0.9 MTPA, from 23.14 MTPA to 24.04 MTPA with an aggregate investment of Rs.58 crores.

Shares of The Ramco Cements Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 828.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 841.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 14548 in over 1344 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 845.00 and intraday low of 816.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 12058498.00.
