Shahlon Silk Industries Limited, a leading integrated textile company, is gearing up for entering into CETP (Common Effluent Treatment Plant) Business. The Company has identified the land required for the project and the company is in the process of finalizing the project components. The company is planning for installation of Common Effluent Treatment Plant with 8 MLD capacity with Zero Liquid Discharge and Recycling Plant including effluent conveyance pipeline and pumping network with treated water distribution network for re-use.
Shri Dhirajlal Shah, Chairman of Shahlon Silk Industries Limited expressed his appetite about this Venture: "The company is having profound experience and exposure in successfully running CETP facility for captive use at its manufacturing location at Karanj to meet the requirement of treating/recycling of the waste water used in waterjet looms since 2008. The group is also having CETP facility in Textile Park Project for use of its members units. The proposed CETP project will be designed for treating of effluent generated from water jet looms located in the surrounding area to comply with statutory requirement and to meet the social responsibility towards environment, and we are excited to meet this need with our new stateof-the-art facility."
