BEL receives orders worth Rs.1,155 Crores

Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), has secured an order worth Rs. 850 Cr. from Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) for the supply of indigenous Multi Function Radar in X Band. This fully indigenous radar designed by DRDO and manufactured by BEL is capable of detecting, acquiring and tracking airborne targets to provide protection to naval ships.

Additionally, BEL has secured orders valued at Rs. 305 Cr. following the last disclosure on 22 August 2024, which include navigational complex system for ships, thermal imagers, communication equipment, fire control system, gun control system, spares, services, etc. With these orders, BEL has now accumulated orders totaling Rs.7,075 Cr. in the current financial year.

Shares of Bharat Electronics Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 288.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 285.80. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1704241 in over 19356 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 290.40 and intraday low of 284.35. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 490682403.00.
