Info Edge India Ltd's mobile apps removed from Google Play Store

Info Edge (India) Limited has announced that the mobile applications (viz. Naukri.com Job Search App, Naukri Recruiter, Naukrigulf Job Search App, 99acres Buy/Sell/Rent Property and Shiksha), have been removed/delisted from the Google Play Store today by Google, along with several mobile applications of other companies/entities as well.

The removal/delisting of the Company's mobile applications from the Google Play Store comes as a surprise to the Company, since this action was taken by Google without giving due and sufficient notice to the Company.

The Company is reviewing and evaluating the next course of action and working with Google in this regard, to ensure that the Company's mobile applications are reinstated on the Google Play Store, in the best timely manner.

The Company would like to clarify that users who already have the Company's mobile applications downloaded on their mobile devices can continue to use the same. In addition, all users that are using the Company's mobile applications through other platforms (such as the Apple App Store) or through the concerned web platforms (on both mobile and desktop), are not impacted by this change.

Shares of Info Edge (India) Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 5281.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 5267.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2478 in over 619 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 5330.15 and intraday low of 5194.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 13072756.00.
