LIC reduces stake in BHEL

Life Insurance Corporation of India's shareholding in "Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited" (BHEL) has decreased from 40,74,40,614 to 33,48,62,025 Equity Shares, decreasing its shareholding from 11.701% to 9.617% of the paid-up capital of the said Company.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd is an integrated power plant equipment manufacturer engaged in design, engineering, manufacture, erection, testing, commissioning and servicing of a wide range of products and services for the core sectors of the economy.

Shares of Life Insurance Corporation Of India was last trading in BSE at Rs. 826.80 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 820.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 333458 in over 10030 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 836.65 and intraday low of 806.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 274569070.00.
