Himalaya Food International Ltd updates on OTS

The New India Assurance Company had released the interim claim amount against the Fire caught in month of May last year. The final amount is likely to be released in next few weeks on the conclusion of Machinery salvage. All the amount of Insurance claim is being paid towards the balance OTS to the consortium of banks led by SBI.

Further, Himalaya Food International Limited (the "Company") has paid a total amount of Rs. 47.05 crore out of Rs. 82.80 crore settled as OTS to banks. Also, the banks have conveyed their willingness to extend the period for balance payment due to Force Majeure i.e. issue of Fire in the Gujarat Plant.

Shares of Himalaya Food International Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 22.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 21.76. The total number of shares traded during the day was 64344 in over 258 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 22.49 and intraday low of 21.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1414443.00.
