Raj Rayon Industries Ltd commences commercial production of Textured Yarn

Post completion of successful trials, Raj Rayon Industries Ltd has commenced the commercial production of Textured Yarn on 22nd November, 2022, at its Silvassa Plant.

The DTY machines have been refurbished. Mechanical and production trials were completed. After the successful trials the Company has started the commercial production for this unit from 22nd November, 2022 by purchasing POY from the open market.

The company is yet to commence commercial production of Purified Terephthalic Acid and Mono Ethylene Glycol which are the main raw materials used to prepare the Polymer after passing through several reactors are converted into polyester chips and POY.

The company is yet to commence production at POY plant where Polymer is received directly from the CP to the POY plant via specialized polymer transfer pipelines. This polymer is then spun and drawn to make POY.
