Lincoln Pharmaceuticals filed a patent for mouth dissolving strip in herbal preparation

Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Ltd has announced that the Company has applied for the patent of Anti-Cold Mouth Dissolving strip in herbal preparation. This is the Novel Drug Delivery System first time in India having herbal preparation, in which the strip containing herbal medicaments gets dissolved in the mouth. Patent has applied on September 20, 2006.

The formulation of the drug is such that it disintegrates quickly upon placement in a mouth leaving substantial residue that is felt on tongue or which needs to be swallowed or ejected from the mouth.

The prime advantage of the product is that it has no side effects as compared to other Anticold preparation available in the market.

The Company's modern plant is approved by WHO, GMP and also ISO 9002 certified. The Company has set up an R&D centre, which is also approved by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The Company is exporting products and also holding a status of Export House from Government of India.
