XL Telecom allots 1499776 equity shares upon conversion of FCCBs

XL Telecom & Energy Ltd has announced that a Committee of the Board of Directors has allotted 14,99,776 (Fourteen Lakhs Ninty Nine thousand Seven hundred Seventy Six) Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each of the Company at a premium of Rs 250/- per share upon conversion of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds to the extent of US$ 9.80 million to the following on February 06, 2008.

1. Goldman Sachs Investments (Mauritius) I Ltd FCCB
- No of shares allotted : 14,99,776
- Conversion of FCCBs (US$): 9,800,000

Consequently, the paid up Equity Share Capital of the Company has been increased from 15695114 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each to 17194890 Equity Shares of Rs 10/-each.
