APL Apollo bags 'India's Best Company of the Year 2017' Award

APL Apollo Tubes Limited (APL Apollo), India's leading branded steel tubes manufacturer, today announced that it has been bestowed with the 'India's Best Company Of The Year - 2017' Award at the ' India's Best Steel Section Pipes & Tubes Manufacturing Company award' ceremony that was held recently in Mumbai.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Chairman of the Company said, "Receiving this award is a great honor for APL Apollo. The Company launched three brands - Apollo Fabritech, Apollo Coastguard and Apollo Agritech till Q3 FY2018. APL Apollo has identified branding as a key growth driver in the coming years and is one of the few players in the industry to have developed a brand recall.

Over the years, the Company has established its credibility in the market space by providing innovative and cost effective solutions with strong focus through innovation leading to development of new designs and sizes. Today, the Company manufactures square & rectangular hollow sections using Direct Forming Technology, with customized sizes such as 300 mm x 300 mm and 400 mm x 200 mm, making APL Apollo the only Company in India to make such customizable sizes. The Company has operationalized 6 lines across its existing facilities and will be commissioning another 2 lines shortly, taking the total installed capacity to 2 million MTPA.

Shares of APL APOLLO TUBES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1941.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1943.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 27185 in over 240 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1950 and intraday low of 1920.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 52359715.
