Empee Distilleries calls for Board Meeting on Dec 26, 2016

A meeting of the Board of Directors of Empee Distilleries Ltd is scheduled to be held on December 26, 2016 to consider and approve sale of 19512997 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each held by the Company in Empee Hotels Limited (Unlisted entity).

The Board will amend / ratify / modify certain clauses in the EGM Notice / Explanatory Statement dated October 27, 2016 (duly passed by Shareholders) to allot 9,39,727 Equity Share Warrants to EW India Special Assets Fund Pte Ltd and 2,27,133 Equity Share Warrants to Edelcap Securities Ltd @ Rs. 64.54 per warrant (price as determined on relevant date i.e. 28/10/2016); on preferential basis.

The Board will consider proposal to pass Resolution to conduct a Postal Ballot for seeking shareholder's approval for the above items a & b and to appoint Scrutinizer for the Postal Ballot.

Shares of EMPEE DISTILLERIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.53.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 53.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9823 in over 167 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 55.1 and intraday low of 53. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 527288.
