Coromandel Fertilisers equity shareholders & unsecured creditors to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd has announced that pursuant to the Order made by the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature of Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad, separate meetings of the equity shareholders & unsecured creditors of the Company will be held on October 08, 2007, for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification(s), the arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Amalgamation proposed to be made between the Company & Godavari Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd.

The stock closed the day at Rs.90, up by Rs.2.35 or 2.68%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.94.40 and low of Rs.89.
