BAG Films receives approval for non-news current affairs channel

BAG Films & Media Ltd has announced regarding obtaining license for non-news and Current Affairs channels from Ministry of Information and Broadcasting by its subsidiary M/s. B.A.G Glamour Pvt. Limited.

"BAG is proud to announce that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India has granted the Permission of Uplink and Downlink of forthcoming non-news and current affairs channels with the name E 24 and Life 24 to M/s. B.A.G. Glamour Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of BAG Films & Media Ltd.

Commenting on the development Ms. Anurradha Prasad, Managing Director BAG Films & Media Ltd said "It has always been our vision to establish ourselves in the Broadcasting arena and this is the first milestone towards realizing the visions."

The stock closed the day at Rs.61.10, up by Rs.2.75 or 4.71%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.61.25 and low of Rs.58. The total traded quantity was 660880 compared to 2 week average of 614970.
