Fire at Ind Swift Laboratories Plant in Derabassi

Ind Swift Laboratories Ltd has announced that a fire broke out in a section of one of the Bulk Drug facilities of the Company at Derabassi (Punjab) in the Morning of September 15, 2007. The fire was swiftly brought under control with the prompt and active assistance of the fire department and authorities.

Other than the affected section of the facility where the fire broke out, all other section of the facilities including all production blocks remained unaffected and continues to operate normally. Cause of the fire is being ascertained.

The Stock was trading at Rs.57, down by Rs.0.85 or 1.47%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.59 and low of Rs.56.60. The total traded quantity was 30160 compared to 2 week average of 134987.
