GMR Infrastructure Ltd has announced that Delhi International Airport (P) Ltd (DIAL), a subsidiary of the Company has commissioned a new IP based digital EPABX system with advanced multimedia applications and services to improve passenger facilitation.
Delhi International Airport (P) Ltd (DIAL), a joint venture consortium mandated to modernize and restructure the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), has commissioned a new IP based digital EPABX system with advanced multimedia applications and services to improve passenger facilitation.
With the implementation of the exchange, the airport now receives a new set of telephone numbers. Callers can now dial:
- 011- 2566 1000 for Terminal 1 (both 1A & 1B)
- 011- 2560 2000 for Terminal 2 (International)
- 011- 2560 1000 for International Cargo Terminal
The users at the airport can avail advanced avail voice and multimedia features. The system is also beneficial to the security agencies based at the airport as it can trace malicious calls through Caller Line Identification (CLI) and call detail log.
The new exchange will benefit the passengers and callers from outside as they can now directly reach any extension using Direct Inward Dialing (DID) features which will improve efficiency in service.

The stock closed the day at Rs.765.70, down by Rs.18.95 or 2.42%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.794.80 and low of Rs.762.35. The total traded quantity was 704106 compared to 2 week average of 737444.
