Jaipur, August 16, 2007: Indo Asian Fusegear Limited (IAFL), India’s leading manufacturer of electrical equipments and switchgears have signed a MOU with Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd.(JVVNL) to promote use of CFL to the consumers of JVVNL in Jaipur. The MOU entails scheme to provide energy conservation and electrical safety products to consumers of JVVNL.
According to the scheme, a consumer of JVVNL would get one CFL free with each CFL of Indo Asian bought from any KIOSK of Indo Asian Fusegear outside 15 collections centers of JVVNL on producing a copy of his electricity bill. Each CFL of 11 watts costs Rs XX, 15 watts CFL Costs Rs XX, 20 watts CFL costs Rs XX but under this scheme, the offer is for BUY ONE & GET ONE FREE or 50% flat on MRP. Hence, the consumer would have to pay just half of the MRP of CFL.
Mr. V.P. Mahendru, CMD of Indo Asian Fusegear Limited, said, "This is yet another step by IAFL to promote energy conservation in the country. We are committed to provide high quality product at affordable prices. We are delighted at this opportunity to sell our range of environment friendly CFL’s to the people of Jaipur. After the overwhelming response from the people of Delhi and Haryana, we are launching the same scheme in Jaipur.
The current scheme is up to 16th February, 2008 extendable on mutual agreement for additional duration.
Mr. Mahendru added, "Our objective is to bring down the consumption of energy in the city by providing effective and economic ways to consumers to encourage energy savings. This has further reinforced our objective of energy management, which is designing and building products that not only protect and control but also conserve and comprehensively manage electrical energy".
