Saurashtra Cement Ltd considers redemption of OCCPS

The Board of Directors of Saurashtra Cement Ltd at its meeting held on March 10, 2016, has declared interim dividend of 13% (Thirteen percent) to the holders of 1,12,911 OCCPS (out of 5,13,038 OCCPS) from November 11, 2000 and on balance 4,00,126 OCCPS from November 27, 2000 upto March 10, 2016 (being the record date) aggregating to Rs. 1020.44 lacs to those shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Preference Shareholders as on the Record date.

The Board also considered redemption of 5,13,038 OCCPS of Rs. 100/- each aggregating to Rs. 5,13,03,800/- as on March 10, 2016, the date of redemption.

Shares of SAURASHTRA CEMENT LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.49.2 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 49.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 88827 in over 461 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 50 and intraday low of 48. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4354900.
