AXIS Bank Ltd allots 197000 equity shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has allotted 1,97,000 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each on February 22, 2016, pursuant to exercise of options under its ESOP Scheme.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly increase from Rs. 476,10,48,342 (238,05,24,171 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each) to Rs. 476,14,42,342 (238,07,21,171 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each).

Shares of AXIS BANK LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.397.1 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 392.5. The total number of shares traded during the day was 587994 in over 9222 trades.
