IOL Broadband equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

IOL Broadband Ltd has announced that pursuant to the Order made by the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, a meeting of the equity shareholders of the Company will be held on August 31, 2007, for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification, the arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Amalgamation of EXATT Technologies Pvt Ltd, (Transferor Company) with the Company (Transferee Company).

The stock closed the day at Rs.557.90, down by Rs.16.60 or 2.89%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.580 and low of Rs.552. The total traded quantity was 70893 compared to 2 week average of 125694.
