Andhra Bank has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.
The Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 1410.90 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 1164.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 8444.40 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 11019.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.
The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.2.91 for the Quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.2.4 for Quarter ending June 30, 2006.
The capital adequacy ratio of the bank stood at 12.49% during quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to 14.38% during quarter ended June 30, 2006.
The stock was trading at Rs.86.70, up by Rs.2.65 or 3.15%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.87.50 and low of Rs.83. The total traded quantity was 144245 compared to 2 week average of 514119.
