NTPC signs MOU with Anna University, Chennai

National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) has announced that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed on July 29, 2007 between the Company and Anna University, Chennai (AUC) to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration to promote Research and Development.
As per MOU, the Company and AUC would co-operate and promote Research & Development in the area of mutual interest, continue education program conducted by AUC in mutually identified areas of interest and establish a 'NTPC Center of Excellence in Energy Studies'.
The stock was trading at Rs.163.15, up by Rs.1.95 or 1.21%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.163.30 and low of Rs.160.15. The total traded quantity was 249460 compared to 2 week average of 1342375.
