Punjab Tractors reports Rs.33 Million profit for June 2007 Quarter

Punjab Tractors Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 33.00 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 177.00 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Revenue has decreased from Rs 2463.00 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 1739.00 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.0.54 for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.2.91 during quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The stock closed on Friday at Rs.268.05, down by Rs.5.35 or 1.96%. The total traded quantity was 7522 compared to 2 week average of 6350. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.273 and low of Rs.251.35.
