Gujarat Alkalies commissions Hydrogen Peroxide Plant in Dahej

Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals Ltd has announced that the Company has successfully commissioned its Hydrogen Peroxide Plant in Dahej at an investment of Rs 112 Crores and has achieved product of international quality. The Managing Director during his visit to Dahej has flagged off the first fleet of Hydrogen Peroxide tankers to various destinations in the country.

The "state of art" technology for this project has been supplied by world renowned Chemature Engineering AB, Sweeden and the project has been commissioned as per schedule.

With the commissioning of this unit, Company has now two operating plants at Baroda and Dahej and shall be having a major share in the domestic market. The demand for this environment friendly product is growing at a faster rate and the commissioning of this unit shall help the Company to improve its top line and bottom line.

The stock closed the day at Rs.145.35, down by Rs.0.20 or 0.14%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.147.45 and low of Rs.143.05. The total traded quantity was 96660 compared to 2 week average of 208794.
