Rajesh Exports secures export order of Rs 272 crores

Rajesh Exports Ltd has announced that the Company has bagged an export order worth Rs 272 crores of gold jewellery from M/s. Lazorde Jewellery, Kuwait.

The Company is globally known for its consistent quality, international finish and timely delivery schedules at competitive rates, due to which this order has been, placed by M/s. Lazorde Jewellery, Kuwait. This order is to be completed by November 15, 2007.

This order will be executed at the Company's manufacturing facility at Bangalore, which is the world's largest jewellery manufacturing facility spread over 12 acres of land with a built up area of 5,00,000 Sqft. The manufacturing facility has an installed capacity to process 250 tones of jewellery per annum. The Company is confident of completing this order well within the time frame, leveraging on its expertise, skilled craftsmen & artisans and its exceptionally strong backward integrated skills.

Mr. Rajesh Mehta, Executive Chairman of the Company said, "We are moving towards margin expansion in the years to come and our R&D team is developing products which would fetch more margins. The R&D team has over the years created exquisite designs which have brought in a consistent flow of orders. The orders received for designer jewellery will propel the Company to achieve its goal of increasing the profit margins at a brisk pace."

The entire product portfolio of the Company is digitized and each of the design bears a distinctive number. The R&D division has conducted extensive research in colour, finish, shine, size and durability of the products which has resulted in each of the products of the Company being exclusive and unique. Each piece of jewellery undergoes a strict quality checking process and only after the certification by the quality control department the product is released for export. The Company absolutely guarantees the gold purity in each of its products.
