Titan Industries to anonunce Q1 results on Jul 27, 2007, to consider merger of associate companies

Titan Industries Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on July 27, 2007, to consider and approve the Unaudited Financial Results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 (Q1).

Further the Company has informed that, the Board shall also consider for approval the final scheme of merger / amalgamation of the three transferor Companies (all domestic associate Companies of the Titan group i.e., Samrat Holdings Ltd, Titan Holdings Ltd and Questar Investments Ltd) and the transferee Company, the Company.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1265.20, down by Rs.30.15 or 2.33%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1318 and low of Rs.1255. The total traded quantity was 89102 compared to 2 week average of 104829.
