Adani Power Ltd clarifies on acquisition of Adhunik Power

The Exchange had sought clarification from Adani Power Ltd with respect to news appearing on ET NOW on March 10, 2015 titled "Adani Power to buy Adhunik Power, Deal valued at around 3500-4000 Crs, Proceeds to be used for debt repayment by Adhunik Metaliks, Adhunik Metaliks owns 50% stake in Adhunik Power."

The company has clarified that it is not aware of any event or development of the nature reported in the article or any material development which the company is obliged to disclose under Clause 36 of the listing agreement.
