Videocon Appliances equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Videocon Appliances Ltd has announced that pursuant to the Order made by the Hon'ble High Court of Bombay, a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of the Company will be held on July 27, 2007, for considering and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification, the arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Amalgamation proposed to be made between Ranjangaon Industries Pvt Ltd with the Company.
