HDFC Bank raises Tier 1 capital

HDFC Bank Ltd has announced that on September 08, 2006 the Bank has allotted on private placement basis Unsecured non-convertible subordinated perpetual bonds in the nature of debentures of Rs 200 Crores for inclusion as Tier 1 capital.
