Canara Bank raises Rs. 1500 crore through Tier - II Bonds (Series - I) issue

Canara Bank had announced plans for coming out with the issuance of Tier-II Bonds (Series - I) for Rs. 1500 Crore to augment capital resources. The Issue opened on December 30, 2013 and closed on January 03, 2014. The Bank has successfully raised Rs. 1500 Crore under BASEL-III Complaint Tier-II Bonds.

Shares of Canara Bank was last trading BSE at Rs.277.65, up by Rs.6.55 or 2.42%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.279 and intraday low of Rs.265.75.

The total traded quantity was 3.37 lakh shares as compared to 2 week average of 2.93 lakh shares.
