Kirloskar Electric DC Motor to replace 60 years old English Electric motor in UK

Kirloskar Electric Company Ltd has bagged a prestigious order beginning of this year from Air Craft Research Association Ltd, England for a 1200 HP split laminated yoke with compensation winding DC Motor in Frame KLDCS3157, 250-500 RPM, 520 Va . The motor will be used for wind tunnel fan testing. Inspectors from Air Craft Research have completed the inspection on 24 September, 2013 and have cleared motor for dispatch.

Shares of Kirloskar Electric Company Ltd last traded in BSE at Rs.14.65, down by Rs.0.31 or 2.07%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.15.40 and low of Rs.14.50.

The total traded quantity was 14204 compared to 2 week average of 6552.
