Empower Industries clarifies on news item regarding tie-up

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Empower Industries seen headed for tie-up", Empower Industries India Ltd has announced that keeping in view the Company’s future expansion activities, negotiations are underway with some of the domestic and overseas Companies including a Japanese and USA Company, for technical and marketing Joint Venture in the areas of IT, Power Electronics and other future leading technologies.

The stock closed the day at Rs.19.80, up by Rs.0.90 or 4.76%. The total traded quantity was 152287 compared to 2 week average of 160287. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.19.80 and low of Rs.19.60.
